Gender and Gender Identity

The Office for Equity and Diversity at the University of Minnesota has an online document that includes some additional resources regarding LGBTQIA identities and communities. The document can be accessed via the link.

The Gender Equity in Transportation (GET) Collaborative is a group of transportation researchers, planners, and consultants who strive to improve gender considerations in transportation planning. The group has collaborated to successfully create research proposals and gain funding and will continue to spread the message of gender and transportation research. Community Resources

Rainbow Health Minnesota advocates for and serving the LGBTQ+ community, those living with HIV, and all folks facing barriers to equitable healthcare. More information and community resources can be found on their website.

St. Cloud Pride aims to raise awareness regarding issues of heterosexism, homophobia and transphobia within the community. Their major focus is to provide education, resources and event opportunities to the LGBTQ+ community. More information can be found on their website.

Resilient Campus is an inclusion, leadership development, and coaching services organization, which provides LGBTQ inclusion and equity trainings and consulting. More details about Resilient Campus and their services can be found on their website.

Boca Recovery Center offers LGBTQ+ population treatment facilities with adequate cultural competency to get the help they need for their substance abuse recovery. Boca Recovery Center staff is passionate about helping people overcome addiction and supporting them to rebuild their lives on a foundation of health and well-being.
